The 程学programs in engineering are designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the engineering sciences (which are based on mathematics and the natural sciences), of the basic concepts of the humanities and social sciences, and an understanding of the manner in which these elements are interwoven in engineering practice. Each curriculum provides enough flexibility through elective course opportunities to permit a certain amount of program individualism while meeting basic requirements.
